3D Scanning for Commercial and Production Applications

We offer 3D scanning for selected commercial projects where an existing object needs to be digitised for CAD reconstruction, reverse engineering, or batch production.

A structured light scanner is used to capture the geometry of the object and create a digital 3D model that can then be further processed for measurement, design work, or manufacturing.

This service is typically suitable for:

• reverse engineering existing parts

• discontinued or hard-to-source components

• batch production projects

• commercial product development

Please note: we do not position 3D scanning as a general one-off copy service for small personal jobs. In many low-volume cases, the scanning and file-preparation work is not cost-effective.

Maximum scannable size is approximately 2 metres, depending on the object.
